FLADPAC
Florida Dental Political Action Committee

INVEST IN YOUR FUTURE

Any business requires an investment. That's what PAC dollars are - an investment in the legislative process and the future of your business.

Your PAC dollars and a strong political-action committee will:

• support pro-dental candidates for election to the Florida Legislature and statewide offices.
• provide education and information to candidates for political office, including elected decision-makers.
• mobilize Florida dentists for grassroots political involvement.

Our political-action committee enables organized dentistry to have a personal involvement in campaigns. Only 1 in 5 licensed Florida dentists are FLADPAC members.

FLADPAC is administered by a Board of Directors and is also affiliated with the ADPAC (American Dental Political Action Committee). FLADPAC members receive the biannual PacPower newsletter and a brochure announcing the FLADPAC-supported candidates before the first primary of the general election.

If you have any questions or would like to join FLADPAC, please contact the FDA Governmental Affairs Office at shensen@floridadental.org or call toll-free, (800) 326-0051 or visit the following link: http://www.floridadental.org/pro/members/governmental/fladpac.html

FLADPAC Supports Candidates for Upcoming Primary

The Florida Dental Political Action Committee (FLADPAC) has supported several pro-dental candidates for the Aug. 31 primary election. The FDA trusts that these candidates, if elected, would strongly support dental issues.

There are several contested seats in this year’s primary elections. See below to view a guide, by component, of candidates the FDA believes will serve organized dentistry.

As a busy professional, perhaps voting on election day won’t be convenient for you. Submitting an absentee ballot is an excellent alternative and early voting is available in many Florida counties. Your supervisor of elections can inform you of specific dates and deadlines in your area.

For absentee and early voting information in your county, visit the Florida Department of Elections’ Web site.
And don’t forget to vote!
